Welcome to Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church
The Mission of Bethel AME Church is to minister to the social, spiritual, and physical development of all people.
We thank you for taking time to visit our website, and hope you will find something here to encourage you in your spiritual growth. We have accepted the Great Commandment to love God and to love our neighbor. Who is our neighbors – YOU. As a church, we are committed to helping each believer find his or her place of service in the Kingdom of God.
We believe that through the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ we have been changed. He has forgiven us of our sin and has refashioned us according to His glorious image. Together, we are striving to be the kind of church described in the bible – a community. We are committed to developing relationships that produce acceptance, love, encouragement, and service.
We believe that God loves every person, and genuinely desires a personal relationship with all of God’s creation. BethelAMEChurch connects people with each other, so that together we can connect with God. Our Sunday morning worship filled with praise and worship through music, the Word, and our giving is truly a worship experience. We come together on Sunday to worship God for the awesome grace and mercy extended to us personally and as a Church body. Each Wednesday, we grow closer to each other and to Jesus through our interactive Bible study discussions. Each fourth Sunday, we share a fellowship meal together after our morning worship. As we do these things, spiritual growth and new friendships naturally happen!
Bethel is the kind of church that welcomes people wherever they are on their faith journey. We encourage people to ask questions. All of us need to discover truths about God and about life in general. Our church is a generational church, and we welcome people of all ages.
We invite you to drop in for a personal visit. Our doors and arms are open wide to those who want to discover the joy of loving and being loved by God.
We desire to share and spread the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ; Trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior; Minister to those in need; Accept God’s command to love our neighbors as ourselves;
Kneel regularly in prayer and communion relying upon the power of the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and teach us.
Please know that you are welcome among us. Join us at our Sunday morning worship service or our Wednesday Bible study as we praise the Lord in spirit and in truth.
